Plans are in the works to have a Tucson venue for the:

World of Grip – World’s Strongest Hands 2010
 
It will be a distributed competition with multiple promoters throughout the world running the same events on the same day. Scores will be compared against all other competitors for the various venues for the Overall Leg Placing. Points will be awarded for each leg with a cumulative tally at the end of the series for the series win. Contact me if you have interest in competing.

The 3rd annual AZ Cactus Grip Showdown was this last weekend. Boy was it a blast. Some amazing performances were done by all. We had at least 4 guys who came out and did their first grip contest in the group and 9 total competitors. I will get the complete contest results up on the contests page as soon as I can. Here are the top 5 placings though:
